PLASMA CUTTING

Similar to flame cutting, plasma cutting is a thermal processing method. However, unlike flame cutting, it employs an electrical arc to ionize gas flowing through a narrow opening. This elevates the gas temperature to create plasma, a fourth state of matter. While plasma cutting isn’t restricted to steel and can be applied to various conductive materials, it has limitations regarding material thickness compared to other techniques.
